It’s January 2020. Baby Emma (tv show Friends) just woke up from her nap, I just finished prepping for my trip to Mars and I’m heading out in my flying car to meet a friend at a nanobot cafe.
It’s hard to believe that what was once thought of as a dreamy, futuristic era is actually upon us. Here we are still cooking our own food, pumping gas and waking up to news of forest fires and rumors of war.
While it’s highly disappointing that our lives don’t look like a scene from The Jetsons, we’re alive, we have new opportunities to improve our lives with whatever resources we have access to. Some are still making resolutions, you know the usual, getting fit, making money and everything that’s easier said than done. I think we all want to make 2020 our “best year yet”.
It all boils down to discipline. Stop procrastinating, and I’ll say it louder for myself and the people at the back, STOP PROCRASTINATING. Make a vision board, write down your goals, get into planning and journaling, do whatever you need to do to motivate yourself and set your intentions for the year. Whether your goals are small, whether they’re big, whether they seem far fetched, the amazing thing is, they’re all possible.
Happy New Year 2020 to all of you.
